Twenga is a unique search engine for shopping based in the UK. It is currently in beta and has been since 2006. One quick peek at the front page already reveals several categories, many of which are related to electronics and popular consumer items. Some examples include: Canon PowerShot S3 IS (camera), Toshiba 32WLT68 (LCD TV), Palmone Tungsten E2 (PDA), Sony Ericsson M600i (Mobile Phone), and Panasonic VDR-D300 (camcorder). Those are just a few of the many popular products at Twenga. One particular feature I liked is that many products offer links to editorial reviews from sites that reviewed the product, as well as a percentage reflecting the popularity of the product amongst those who have used it. However, one key difference about Twenga is that you cannot purchase directly from them. Instead, it’s a search engine, more like a Google of shopping. Twenga helps you find a good product, at a competitive price, from a good online retailer. If you are located in the UK area, I would definitely suggest you try out Twenga!
